About the Department
The Seligman Police Department is funded through a one-cent municipal sales tax within the City of Seligman. This tax was approved by the citizens of Seligman in April 2025. As a direct result of this funding measure, the department was able to establish an additional full-time patrol officer position.
For Fiscal Year 2026, the Police Department’s budget was approved in the amount of $193,660. This allocation provides for personnel salaries, fuel, vehicle maintenance, professional services, equipment, and operational supplies.
