The City of Seligman Mayor and Board of Aldermen work together for the citizens of our community. As leaders, they are committed to protecting the City of Seligman assets through the encouragement of residents and businesses to become integral participants in our community.
Board of Aldermen
The Board of Aldermen act as the legislative branch of our government, as well as its policy-making body. The Aldermen look to our community's goals, major projects and infrastructure improvements ranging from community growth to land use to finances and strategic planning. The Board's goal is to do the very best to represent their constituents after they've seen to the needs of the community as a whole.
Meetings
As the legislative branch of the City of Seligman government, the Board of Aldermen hold open public meetings where local laws, policies, and basic decisions for the City are discussed and decided. Aldermen are elected at large.
Regular Meetings are held on the second Monday at 6pm in the Community Meeting Room at City Hall 29144 Main Street, Seligman, MO 65745.
Agenda item deadline is 12pm the Wednesday before the meeting, this gives the City Clerk time to prepare the packets for the upcoming meeting.
